Spooky-Cute Halloween Hot Dogs

Ingredients

  • Hot Dogs
  • Pillsbury Crescent Rolls Original or Puff Pastry
  • Argo Corn Starch (for dusting)
  • Ketchup (Optional – for decorating the plate)

Directions

  1. Prepare the Hot Dogs Cut each hot dog in half to create the bodies of the little ghosts.

  2. Prepare the Dough Lightly dust a clean work surface with Argo Corn Starch. Roll out the Pillsbury Crescent Rolls Original dough or puff pastry to approximately 2 mm thick, then cut into squares large enough to cover each hot dog piece.

  3. Wrap the Little Ghosts Place a hot dog piece in the center of each dough square. Gently drape the dough over the hot dog, leaving it slightly loose. Spread out the bottom edges to create a flowing ghost-like shape.

  4. Make the Ghost Faces Use the tip of a clean drinking straw to cut two small holes for the eyes and one hole below for the mouth, creating adorable little ghost faces.

  5. Air-Fry Until Golden Arrange the little ghosts in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between each one.

Air-fry at 170°C for approximately 6–8 minutes, or until the pastry is fully cooked and golden brown.

Note: Cooking time may vary depending on the type and thickness of the dough. Puff pastry may require additional cooking time. Make sure the dough is fully cooked before serving.

  1. Decorate & Serve Allow the little ghosts to cool slightly before arranging them on a serving plate.

For an extra spooky Halloween touch, optionally drizzle or spread some ketchup onto the plate to create a playful, blood-like effect.

Your Little Ghosts in a Blanket are ready to serve — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and almost too cute to eat!
