Instructions
- Prosciutto di Parma & Melon
- Remove the melon rind and cut the flesh into bite-sized pieces.
- Wrap a slice of Prosciutto di Parma around each piece of melon.
- Arrange them neatly on the charcuterie board.
The melon’s sweet, juicy flavour perfectly complements the delicate saltiness, tender texture, and aged aroma of Prosciutto di Parma, creating a classic Italian combination.
- Chorizo, Manchego Cheese & Green Olives
- If using a whole Chorizo sausage, cut it into cubes or bite-sized pieces.
- If the Chorizo is already sliced, fold each slice in half or roll it loosely to create a neat, bite-sized shape.
- Cut the Manchego cheese into bite-sized cubes.
- Thread a green olive onto a cocktail stick, followed by the folded or rolled Chorizo and a piece of Manchego cheese.
- Arrange them on the board with honey and mixed nuts.
Chorizo delivers a rich, salty flavour with a hint of spice and smoky paprika. Whether served as cubes or folded slices, it pairs beautifully with the firm texture, creamy richness, and subtle nutty aroma of Manchego cheese.
Green olives add a salty, tangy note, while honey brings gentle sweetness. Finish with mixed nuts or almonds for a satisfying crunch.
- Salami, Camembert & Grapes
- Fold or arrange the Salami slices into a flower shape.
- Cut the Camembert or Brie cheese into bite-sized pieces.
- Add fresh grapes and crackers to the board.
Serve the Salami, cheese, and grapes together on a cracker. Salami has a savoury, rich flavour with a subtle tang from the fermentation process. Pairing it with soft, creamy Camembert or Brie helps mellow its intensity.
Sweet, juicy grapes add freshness and balance the saltiness of the Salami and the richness of the cheese. Crackers complete the pairing with a crisp, crunchy texture.
Add a Twist with Dark Chocolate
Try pairing it with: Dark Chocolate & Manchego Cheese The cheese’s salty, nutty flavour helps soften and balance the bitterness of the chocolate.
Dark Chocolate & Tangy Fruit The fruit adds sweetness and freshness while making the chocolate taste smoother and less bitter.
Dark Chocolate & Salami or Chorizo Rich cold cuts add another layer of flavour through their saltiness, fat, spices, and savoury notes.
