- 8 Rice Krispies Treats
- 4 Jumbo Marshmallows
- 16 Edible Candy Eyes
- Finely Crushed Oreo Cookies (for decorating)
- Spooky Gums, Gummy Worms (for decorating)
- Eyeball-Shaped Candies (for decorating)
Directions
Shape the Mummies Unwrap the Rice Krispies Treats and gently press and shape each one to resemble a mummy's body and head. Slightly pinch the neck area to create a more defined head shape.
Prepare the Marshmallows Place one Jumbo Marshmallow on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave for approximately 10 seconds, or until soft and stretchy. Allow it to cool slightly until safe to handle. Repeat as needed with the remaining marshmallows.
Wrap the Mummies Gently pull the softened marshmallow into long, thin strands using your fingers. Wrap the strands around each Rice Krispies Treat in a crisscross pattern to resemble mummy bandages, leaving space for the eyes.
Add the Eyes Attach two Edible Candy Eyes to the face of each mummy, pressing gently to secure them to the marshmallow. Place the mummies on parchment paper and allow the marshmallow to set.
Decorate & Serve Sprinkle Finely Crushed Oreo Cookies onto a serving tray or plate to create a spooky, dirt-like surface. Arrange the Rice Krispies Treats Mummies at different heights for a playful Halloween display. Decorate with Spooky Gums, Gummy Worms and Eyeball-Shaped Candies to complete the Halloween scene!
