Pork & Apple Sausages braised with smoky bacon and cider
Ingredients
- olive oil
- 8 Pork & Apple Sausages from Wicks Manor
- 6 Smoked Streaky Bacon from Wicks Manor
- 1 Onion, halved and sliced
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 450 ml cider
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- a handful of parsley, chopped
- mashed potato
Cooking Method
- Heat oil, cook sausages until browned, and remove.
- Cook bacon and onion until golden. Add flour, then cider, and simmer.
- Add mustard and sausages, and simmer until the sauce thickens. Add parsley and serve with mashed potato.
