This range of wines were affectionately named after our founder’s family cottage which he built in 1845, one year after he planted his first vines on his property in Magill. GRAPE VARIETY Cabernet Sauvignon VINEYARD REGION South Eastern Australia WINE ANALYSIS Alc/Vol: 13.54% , Acidity: 6.0 gL, pH: 3.61 MATURATION 25% matured with French and American oak COLOUR Deep and vibrant red. NOSE Red berries and varietal blackberry fruit dominate the aromatics with subtle hints of cassis and nutmeg spice also evident. PALATE Mulberry and darker fruits spread across the palate. Soft silky tannins balance the mid palate. Medium bodied, soft, rounded with natural fruit sweetness and subtle oak spiciness.
