This range of wines were affectionately named after our founders family cottage which he built in 1845, one year after he planted his first vines on his property in Magill. GRAPE VARIETY Merlot VINEYARD REGION South Eastern Australia WINE ANALYSIS Alc/Vol: 13.93%, Acidity: 6.7 gL, pH: 3.48 MATURATION 25% matured with French and American oak COLOUR Crimson red with purple hues. NOSE Dark plum and cherry fruits with underlying spice and savoury oak aromatics.  PALATE Plummy fruits burst mid palate along with soft silky tannins and subtle integrated oak spice completes a soft and balanced mid palate.
